Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 GPU may demand 600W from your PSU : gadgets

It’s an issue for a few reasons.

600W is a lot even in a burst application, and a poorly rated 1000w probably won’t work.

Most people even with like a 3090 dont liquid cool it.

Now I agree on the PSU part. If you are going to spend 4 digits on a GPU, you would be crazy not buying a top end PSU for a couple / few hundred. Just for the security alone, you dont want a shit PSU killing your card.
