Yep. Know someone who travels and put together a ‘laptop’ using an Xbox and a screen. If you really want, you can get actual laptop-internal screens with a USB to whatever ribbon cable it takes instead of having to use an out-of-the-box solution. It looks a lot cleaner and takes up less space, as my buddy did that specifically because the cables are easier to hide and he can design his own bezel and such.
This stuff has existed for awhile now though. I remember seeing some Xbox 360 setups like that too, and I’m sure some people tried it with the PS2/Xbox, although consumer electronics weren’t really there yet.
It was a really cool idea, although nowadays with so many portables and consumer options it’s pretty normal.
